Suspects on the run after minicab collision, four seriously injured

East London — A black colored BMW X6 has collided with a minicab around 5:20am on June 30. The taxi driver and three of his passengers sustained serious injuries.

The BMW allegedly turned a corner and subsequently collided with the mini cab.

However, according to police, the occupants of the BMW immediately fled the scene after the incident.

Police officers and ambulance attended the scene where they received proper medical attention.

Furthermore, the minicab driver sustained a serious head injury. His condition, as of now, is stable.

Metropolitan Police are appealing for witnesses to step forward and help further the investigation.

There was no consideration given to those injured in the other car. I urge you to do the right thing now and come forward.

He furthered: “In the meantime, I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who has dash-cam footage, who witnessed this incident or who can name the suspects. All information will be treated in the strictest confidence, and if necessary, can be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers.”
