    Police in Oak Park are searching for a man who robbed a cab driver on Oak Park’s eastern border.

    According to a police summary of the incident, a cab driver was parked in the 1400 block of North Austin Boulevard at 8:45 p.m. Nov. 30 when a man entered the front passenger seat through an unlocked door. The man then ordered the driver to look forward and give him money, police said.

    The man then stole $500 in cash from the center console cup holder and left the car, fleeing in an unknown direction, police said.

    The suspect is described as a black man, between 18 and 25 years old, with a medium-dark complexion, a medium build. Police said he was wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt with the hood up.
